Noisefloor (1995-8)

Older stuff, from when my main expressive tools were a drum machine and a distortion pedal. These techno tracks mostly feature 808, 909, Waldorf Microwave, lots of overdrive, and a Lexicon Vortex.

This started with just fooling around with an old Univox drum machine, but ended up being an improv track that I really like.

Capsule

Capsule

909, 808, microwave, and distortion: my standard lineup. This is probably the best example of that style of perkowitz music.

Tide

Tide

Another 808, 909, 303, microwave, distortion track. The 808 conga melody is over the top, but it’s named for the rising tide of effect noise as the track goes on.
